Biography
Lucy began learning the violin at the age of 8 with the Bromley Youth Music Trust, touring with the Chamber Orchestra and received a Guildhall Diploma in Violin Performance with high honours in 2003. She went on to study at York University under the tuteledge of Dr Simon Jones (Kings Consort) and William Leary (RLPO) and then on to the Royal Northern College of Music where she studied with Malcolm Layfield and Eyal Kless. Whilst at college she received coaching from the Lindsay Quartet, Alasdair Tait and Christopher Rowlands. As well as playing in college enesembles Lucy's orchestral training includes the Britten-Pears Orchestra and the Minehead Festival Orchestra

As a freelance musician Lucy has played with the London Militaire Orchestra, Orquesta do Norte and Guys & Dolls (Deputy 2nd Violin).

Lucy has also given recitals at Croydon Fairfield Halls (2007) and in the Oldham Unitarian Chapel luchtime concert series 2007

Education
Lucy's graduate studies took place at the University of York (Batchelor of Arts in music 2003 - 2006) and the Royal Northern College of Music (Postgraduate Diploma 2006 - 2007)
