Teaching experienceJoanne was invited to India to teach the cello and work with the Bombay Chamber Orchestra.Her private teaching includes cello (all ages and levels), double bass (beginner to grade 3), music theory (up to grade 5) and piano (up to grade 1). Joanne has taught at the following schools:

Orchestral Work
Joanne's orchestral work includes London Symphony Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, London Children's Ballet Company, Chameleon Arts Orchestra, British Youth Opera (principal cello), Canterbury Philharmonic (principal cello), Bombay Chamber Orchestra (principal cello), Concilium Chamber Orchestra (principal cello), London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Arion Symphony Orchestra, Forest Philharmonic, Riverside Opera Company.
Shows: Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, Barnham, Oliver.
Chamber music: Joanne is a member of the Blond String Quartet and the Botticelli Cello Duo. Her solo experience includes performances in many churches and halls including St Martin in the Field and cruise ships.
Recordings / TV: Performances and recordings for many bands and ensembles including Boyzone, Polar Star, Top of the Pops and The Big Breakfast.
Education
Joanne's graduate studies took place at Trinity College of Music, where she gained a Dip TCL with merit (1992 - 1996). Her postgraduate studies also took place at Trinity College of Music (1996 - 1998).
