Biography
As a freelance musician, Ayako has worked with many eminent conductors including Sir Colin Davis, Yan-Pascal Tortelier, Lutz Koeler and Vladimir Ashkenazi at venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, St. John's Smith Square and St. James Piccadilly Church, London.
Her solo performances include:
- Recital in Warminster Assembly Hall, Warminster, U.K. (October 2001)
- Recitals in Duke's Hall, Royal Academy of Music, London (2004 & 2006)
- Young Musicians' Platform in Toride city and Ibaraki prefecture, Japan (June 2006 & 2007)
- Lunch time recitals at St. Martin Ludgate Church, London (October & December 2005)
- Afternoon recital in Lyme Regis (May 2007)
- Recital in Treviso, Italy (May 2007)
Ayako attended the Bowdoin Summer Music Festival, Maine, USA in 1998.

Ayako's graduate studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music (BMus, MMus, PgDip) (September 2000-June 2006)

Teachers: Masumi Ueda, Masayuki Miyakawa, Kazuki Sawa, Jean Harvey, Richard Deakin and Bela Katona. Ayako has participated in masterclasses with Emanuel Hurvitz, Norbert Brainin, Sylvia Rosenberg, Lewis Kaplan, Howard Davis, Erich Gruenberg, Diana Cummings, Nicholas Miller and Thomas Brandis. She has also had Chamber Music coaching from Richard Deakin, Sigmund Nissel, Michael Dussek, Joseph Seiger and Howard Davis.
