Biography
Rachael was a member of the Nova Strings Quartet, the Schubert String Trio and is currently a member of the Venusian Ensemble. She has performed as a soloist on numerous occasions with Nova Strings and also with The Morley College Chamber Orchestra.
She works regularly with the Sigma Quartet and the Status Cymbal String Quartet providing music for functions. She has recently established a sonata duo and performs regularly throughout the UK.

Rachael was a member of the backing group for Carl Doy's tour of New Zealand.
Rachael is also an experienced Conductor. In New Zealand, she founded and directed The St. Andrews on the Terrrace Cello Choir. In 2005 she was invited to participate in Neeme Jariv's International Summer Conducting Academy in Estonia, as part of the David Oistrach Festival. This project gave Rachael the opportunity to conduct the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra in three concerts.
Orchestral Work
Rachael's orchestral work includes the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (principal); Thames Philharmonic (principal); London Musical Arts (co-principal); The Dunedin Sinfonia (co-principal); Auckland Philharmonic; Boston Philharmonic; The Kaiseslautern Symphony Orhcestra (Germany); London Concert Sinfonia; I Maestri; Midland Symphony Orchestra; New Zealand Symphony Orchestra; Wellington Sinfonia.
Rachel's theatre work includes Oxford Opera (principal); Wellington City Opera (co-principal); New Zealand Opera Company (co-principal)
Rachel's studio work includes sessions with the The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, chamber orchestra and string quartet.
Education
Rachael's graduate studies took place at Victoria University of Wellington, NZ. BMus. (1985 - 1988), and her postgraduate studies took place at The Boston Conservatory, USA (1989 - 1990).
