Ariella Strings (Quartet and Trio), established for over nine years, have a wealth of experience playing for every kind of function. Along with a versatile, extensive repertoire, we pride ourselves in offering our clients a professional, friendly service coupled with exceptional standards of playing. Each member of Ariella Strings is a highly experienced and accomplished performer in their own right, within the quartet, trio, and also with other professional ensembles and orchestras throughout the UK and abroad. 'Thanks to everyone for the job you did at our wedding. We had an absolutely perfect day and the quartet were the icing on the cake. Philippa really appreciated the arrangement of moments in love, especially having it second time around." Graham and Philippa Buchanan Ariella String Trio
'Jeff and I would like to thank the Trio for a fantastic performance at our wedding. We had so many people comment on the music it was great and perfect in every way, all the music as requested at the right time - was lovely to hear them during the dinner also - we thoroughly enjoyed it. Many, many thanks to all concerned, we would not hesitate recommending you in the future. All the best to you and the other trio members.' Jeff and Michelle Ariella String Quartet
We have recently won the BA Special Wedding Entertainment Award which is recognized both locally and nationally: "As part of their Corporate Policy to recognise outstanding achievements made within the business community, Milton Keynes & Bedfordshire Today has selected a number of forward-thinking companies that displayed a continual commitment to recognise best practice, innovative business processes and overall high quality customer-focused service. From these nominees a short list of finalists was then formed, who were assessed and scored on their individual merit. In line with this philosophy, Ariella Strings has been successful in winning the prestigious BA SPECIAL WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT AWARD 2008/09. As a completely independent Award Programme, recognising business excellence across a wide range of disciplines, the Business Achievement Award is recognised both locally and nationally. " 'To Ariella Strings, Thanks to you all for the wonderful music at our wedding on 30th August 2008. It added a great atmosphere and the guests were very impressed, as were we.' Kevin and Jo Having been singled out to receive the BA SPECIAL WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT AWARD 2008/09 serves as a distinguishing factor that ranks Ariella Strings amongst the best in its field, as well as acting as a seal of approval to prospective clients." As well as playing for functions, the members of Ariella Strings regularly give formal Chamber recitals in a wide range of Chamber Ensembles, including: String Quartet, String Trio, String Quintet, String Octet and the prestigious Ariella Chamber Ensemble. WORKSHOPS 'Thank you so much for all your help in the lead up to what was the happiest day of our life - your music helped to make our ceremony the personal and colourful time it was - and so many people commented too. THANKYOU and we do hope we will hear you again someday soon' Clare & Tony Education Workshops One of our most popular workshops for schools is entitled 'Five Hundred Years of Popular Music'. It takes the audience on a history tour through popular music. This is, of course, adapted depending on the age range of the children. In our workshops we use activities and games to show participants how to learn to memorise and repeat rhythms, words and melodies, and work together in a group. These sessions are normally linked to a concert given by the ensemble, but can work equally well as a free-standing event. Chamber Music Coaching Outreach Our aim is to develop and deliver projects within local communities, making sure there is a relevance to the people within that community.
