  ABIGAIL BURROWS  (flute, piccolo, flute alto, flute bass) » 

ABIGAIL BURROWS has performed with orchestras as a soloist at venues including London's Royal Festival Hall, Russia's Novgorod Philharmonic Hall and The Anvil, Basingstoke. Recent concerto performances include the Nielsen Flute Concerto with the Milton Keynes Sinfonia, the Thomson Flute Concerto with the Grampian Concert Orchestra, and the Mozart Flute & Harp Concerto with Daniel De Fry and the Cornerstone Chamber Orchestra. In recital, she has performed at the Fishguard, Windsor, and Edinburgh music festivals and given solo recitals in Norway, Russia and Germany. Last year she was the classical guest artist at a Jethro Tull concert at The Barbican Hall, performing a solo slot and a duet with the legendary rock-flautist, Ian Anderson.

As a chamber musician Abbie has given concerts at Wigmore Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Newport Riverfront Centre and Bridgewater Hall. A passionate teacher, she is a tutor for Flute School London and Flutewise on their courses in UK, Croatia and Slovenia.

Abbie has recently been made a Pearl Flutes International Artist.
