  • Thomas Gregory Trio. Composed in 2002/2003, Trio, by Thomas Gregory had it's world premiere at The Colour House Theatre, London on 23rd November 2003.

Stuart's orchestral work also includes Camarilla Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra of India, Belmont Ensemble of London, Brent Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia (extra list), Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra, Emnica Duo, Fulham Symphony Orchestra, Haverhill Sinfonia, Kensington Symphony Orchestra, London Arts Orchestra, Marylebone Sinfonia, Milton Keynes City Orchestra, New London Wind Orchestra, Manchester Camerata (extra list), Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra, Nottingham Symphony Orchestra, Nova Symphony Orchestra, Parikian Orchestra, Orchestra of the Kings Camerata, St Clements Wind Ensemble, St Paul's Festival Orchestra, Rehearsal Orchestra (principal in a performance of Ravel's Daphnis & Chloe), Stanley Hall Opera and Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of India.

Stuart's theatre work includes the Cameron Mackintosh touring production of Oliver!, Into the Woods, Chess, West Side Story, Brigadoon, Calamity Jane and many more.

Stuart's studio work includes recording sessions for artist Kate Nash, sessions for Karl Jenkins Ltd; the recording of Square Window (10 Songs for Boys and Girls, Milo Studios, London); Chris Bowden's Time Capsule (Soul Jazz Records, London); Courtship (Friendly Advice); plus various recordings for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Nottingham.

Education
Stuart's graduate studies took place at Royal Academy of Music (1992 - 1996), where he gained his Bachelor of Music (Hons) (Performance) and his LRAM (Teaching) in 1995.

  • John Solomon prize for Wind and Brass Solo Recital, winner, RAM, 1995
  • Scholarship winner to Banff Summer School, Canada, 1995
  • Geoffrey Hawkes Clarinet Prize, very highly commended, RAM, 1994
  • Nicholas Blake Wind Ensemble Prize, very highly commended, RAM, 1994
  • Nottingham Symphonic Wind Band (leader), National Championship winners, 1991

Teachers: Angela Malsbury, Nicholas Rodwell, Joy Farrall and Richard Addison (Bass and E flat). Previously Stuart was taught by Nigel Hinson, Georgina Dobree and Keith Puddy.

Stuart has taken part in Masterclasses with Michael Collins, Gervase de Peyer, James Campbell, Karl Leister and Andrew Marriner.
