Patrizia Meier left her native Switzerland to complete her studies at Trinity College of Music with Sioned Williams.

She achieved distinction in her post graduate diploma and was awarded a Fellowship at Trinity College of Music. Since winning the Park Lane Recital Award in 1995, Patrizia has embarked on a diverse freelance career.

She has played with many of the major London Orchestras, in Chamber Recitals and as a Soloist, both in the UK and abroad. She has played in all the major concert venues and has broadcast regularly on BBC radio.

Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Apollo Chamber Orchestra, Brandenburg Sinfonia, Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera Orchestra, Guildford Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Opera House Orchestra, Sinfonia 21, Southern Pro Musica.

Patrizia's orchestral work also includes the Basel Sinfonietta, Stadtorchester Winterthur, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra.

Education
Patrizia was born in Switzerland 1967. Patrizia's schooling took place at Gymnasium, Kantonsschule Bulach, Switzerland (1980 - 1986) Patrizia's graduate studies took place at Winterthur Conservatoire of Music (1987 - 1991). Her postgraduate studies took place at Trinity College of Music (1992 - 1994).

  • Worshipful Company of Musicians (silver medal, 1993)
  • Park Lane Group Recital Award (1995)
