Miranda's performance of the Dutilleux violin concerto, recorded in 2004, is with the Malaysian Philharmonic; her performances of the Mozart G Major and Bb Major Duo's are with Nils Mönkmeyer (viola). Christopher Cowie is the Oboist in the Mozart Oboe Quartet in F major, K370. The performance of the Bach Double Concerto is with Kjell-Arne Jørgensen (1st Violin), Miranda Playfair (2nd Violin) and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (2003).


In 2007 Miranda was invited by the Tomatis Institute to record Mozart's complete Flute Quartets with S. Witt (flute); Mozart's Oboe Quartet with Christopher Cowie (oboe); and Mozart's Violin and Viola duos with Nils Moenkemeyer (viola). The recordings are to be released in 2009 by the Tomatis Institute.

Miranda has also been a participant at the Emanuel Hurwitz music course (Monterosso, Italy, 1982) and Pro Corda (Chamber music, 1975 - 1982). In 2007, Miranda performed at the St. Endellion Festival, both as soloist and leader of the orchestra.

In 2007 Miranda became a member of Sir John Eliot Gardiner's 'Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique' and in 2008 she became a member of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.

Miranda's concerto performances include the Mozart Violin Concerto No.5 in A major (Trinity College 1988, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra 1991); Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor (Trinity College 1989); Bruch Violin Concerto No.1 in G minor (Chichester Symphony Orchestra 1989); J.S. Bach Double Violin Concerto in D minor (North Norwegian Chamber Orchestra 1990, Malaysian Philharmonic 2003 - commercial recording); Saint-Saens Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (Trondheim Symphony Orchestra 1989); Mozart Concertone (Malaysian Philharmonic 2003); Sarasate Navarra (Malaysian Philharmonic 2001); Dutilleux Violin Concerto L'arbre des songes (Malaysian Philharmonic 2003).

Miranda has given recitals in London, Trondheim, Bodo, Tromso, Oslo and Kuala Lumpur.

As a chamber musician Miranda has performed at the Nürnberg International Chamber Music Festival (Sept 2011), as well as being invited to play at Prussia Cove (International Musicians Seminar, 1995 - present) and Banff Centre, Canada (1992 - 1993). She has given regular chamber concerts in the Malaysia Philharmonic Hall (1999 - 2005); performed in Mumbai (India) with principals of Malaysian Philharmonic (2003); given recitals with the Vertavo String Quartet Oslo (2 tours in Scandinavia, 1997); been involved in chamber music projects with members of Oslo Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestras (1991 - 1992).

Miranda had a private teaching practice in Malaysia for five years continues to teach in the UK.

Miranda's orchestral work also includes being appointed a member of Sir John Eliot Gardiner's 'Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique' and in 2007 a member of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields in 2008.

Miranda has been guest principal with the Philharmonia, London Mozart Players, Manchester Camerata, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Bergen Philharmonic and has been a regular guest Concert Master of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra since 1990. Miranda held a principal position and performed as soloist with the Malaysian Philharmonic from 1999 - 2005.

As a freelance orchestral player Miranda has also worked with the Bergen Symphony Orchestra (3rd/2nd concertmaster, 1990 - ), Camerata Nordica (2006), Goldberg Ensemble, London Chamber Orchestra (2005), Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (3rd concertmaster, 1999 - 2005), Musica Vitae (String orchestra based in Vaxjo, Southern Sweden, Leader and Director (1993 - 1995), Norwegian Chamber Orchestra (1990 - ), North Norwegian Chamber Orchestra (leader, 1990 - 1993), Oslo Philharmonic (1st violin, 1991 -), Oslo Sinfonietta (contemporary music ensemble, 1 of 2 violins, 1997 -), Philharmonia Orchestra (Guest principal 2nd), Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (guest concertmaster, 1995 - 1996), Trondheim Symphony Orchestra (2nd concertmaster, 1990 - 1991), Trondheim Symphony Orchestra (Guest leader, 2006 & 2007).

As a student, Miranda played with the Trinity College of Music Symphony and Chamber Orchestras (leader) and was a member of the European Community Youth Orchestra (1983 - 1985).
