Clive has performed as a soloist at many venues throughout the UK including the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican, Purcell Room, St John's Smith Square and for BBC Radio 3 and BBC 2.

He has also performed in Germany (live radio), France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Holland (live radio), Belgium (live radio), Poland, Turkey (live radio and television) and Croatia.

Clive has made commercial recordings for Col Legno, Wergo, Hyperion, Black Box and EMI.

As a conductor Clive has directed performances of Shameful Vice, by Michael Finnnissy, with Vocem and the Endymion Ensemble; The Testament of James Stewart, by James Clapperton, at the 1996 Oxford Festival of Contemporary Music; and Scipio's Dream, by Judith Weir, with Vocem and the Endymion Ensemble which he directed from the keyboard.

Clive is also involved in theatre work. He was the musical director at the National Theatre of Money, by Edward Bulwer-Lytton and Shakespeare's Anthony and Cleopatra, with Helen Mirren and Alan Rickman. Clive played off-stage piano in Beethoven's Tenth with Peter Ustinov and in John Gabriel Borkman at the Royal National Theatre as well as playing on stage piano accompanying the mime show Space Panorama at the Apollo Theatre.

Education
Clive was born in London 1959. Clive's schooling took place at City of London School (Temple Church Choral Scholar) and Langley Park School for Boys. Clive's graduate studies took place at York University (BA Hons), the Royal Academy of Music (postgraduate study) and Goldsmiths College (PGCE).
